LA on Fire
LA is on fire. It’s close, about 12 miles away, but not close enough to threaten my area. The fire would have to burn through the cities of La Canada, Pasadena and South Pasadena before hitting me. So I believe I’m safe. My mom and brother are about the same distance from the fire, but more west then I am. It would be a huge disaster, both La Canada and Glendale would have to be wiped out before reaching Eagle Rock. But it’s big enough and strong enough that all of LA can see it. The heat and smoke are unbearable and yesterday there was ash everywhere. Last I heard it was about 20% contained.
Yes, we’re safe. No, I doubt we’ll be evacuated, so nothing to worry about. Below are images and videos showing the magnitude of the fire.
