Last Sunday was the Japan Film Society’s first official event at Virginia Park in Santa Monica. The weather cooperated, it wasn’t too hot. You can see the smoke from the Station Fires in the distance. We’re estimating about 90 people showed up. It’s a great start. Our next event will be in September at Winston’s Bar in West Hollywood. Hope to see you there.
