In Record Time
I recently read “After Dark” and “Norwegian Wood” by Haruki Murakami. Both books were excellent with unexpected endings. Quick reads too, my kind of book.
But I think I just broke my record time with “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” by Stieg Larsson. 644 pages in 3 nights. At first I was a bit confused, but when they finally brought out the main story, I just couldn’t put the book down. I found myself liking Lisbeth Salander, even though her character is sooo fucked up. Now off to the library to find the 2nd book in the Millennium-trilogy, “The Girl Who Played With Fire”. The paperback has not been released yet and there’s no way I’m buying that. I’m hoping this one is just as good.
Check out the trailer for the movie, opening in the US on March 19th.
Can’t wait to see this, it’s getting great reviews. But I won’t be watching the Hollywood remake, you know they’ll just fuck up the story.
